Chatting Blog

I feel it is fairly easy for every one to follow conversations in chatrooms how ever the slower typers tend to not be able to get as much in as others who can type a bit faster.
How ever, It should build up faster typing skills for the slower typer and in time they will be just as fast as every one else.

This communication tool could be used for business for example - Interviewing a potential new employee who is out of state or even country, dealing with a bunch of customers or clients at once, if more than two employees have a problem with what to do for work all 3 or more could talk it over together if they are not in the vicinity.

Certain problems using chat for a business solution is if you get that one immature employee in there who likes to goof around on it, could end up representing the company as a whole poorly, also if some one does not have the best grammer on the computer and are dealing with customers that could be another issue. Also in companies people are not at their computer constantly unlike when you have a phone on you constantly so it would not be ideal to get a hold of some one if you needed them right away.

For a group project we could use the chat if a group member cannot physicaly show up to a meeting, it could be anytime of the day and still could meet up in the chat, if some one needs to watch their kids or do things at the house they would still be able to work with their group as a team.

it102 ceo blog

http://www.allbusiness.com/technology/computer-software-productivity-applications/3359-1.html

He is talking about how he is an entrepreur and the current company he is working for at the moment is making bad choices/decisions how ever will remain to stay with the company since coworkers are saying to stick with it and it'll get better in the near future

I Think blogs can be an effective way of communicating how ever, would not be a good idea to post such problems of a company that are a little more "private" for fear of stepping on toes of people I'de work with

IT 102

May 16th, 2007
I expect to learn how to be more productive in the workforce and applying my skills when working for a company. Even though I did not expect to not be experimenting with computer hardware/software and IT 102 to be more of a business class that's fine, I guess I should just read the description a little better next time, none the less it's still a required class for my degree and I feel I will learn something new. I also expect to learn how to work with people a little better too seeing how we are put into groups of 4-5 and signed group contracts saying we will uphold our responsibility of the group and complete our tasks to the best of our ability. I'm assuming this class all in all teaches you how to be more proffesional for companies and coworkers in general. How ever we will see in a couple weeks what is in store for me. =p
